Who We Are

The St. Sebastian Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP) was incorporated in the State of Florida in 1992. We are governed by an independent board of directors. Our purpose is to provide food, clothing, possibly financial assistance, and other support to the needy. We serve all of Indian River County and the southern portion of Bevard County. We are mainly funded by the generous contributions of our supporters and from sales in our Thrift Store.

Last year, we provided continuing support to over 750 families. And the number of families needing assistance is constantly growing every year. In 2024, over 12 percent of the residents of Indian River County were living below the poverty line.*

SVdP serves everyone without regard to race, religion, sex, or other political or social classifications.
