Our Food Pantry occupies 500 square feet of the Thrift Store in a 100-year-old factory building in Wabasso. Over the last 10 years, the families we serve have increased by almost 400%. The current facility is obsolete and can no longer handle the load.
Our vision is to build a 3000 square foot Neighborhood Aid Center adjacent to the Thrift Store that will allow us to provide:
-
The dignity of self-selection of food items.
-
More space for freezers and refrigerators.
-
Additional food storage space.
-
Adequate parking.
-
Job training, mentoring and counseling.
The cost of the new facility is estimated at $1,000,000, of which we have already raised $650,000. We are now in the process of starting the County Site Plan Approval Process and hope to break ground as early as next summer.

We are dependent on the generosity of the members of our community to make this a reality. If you would like to donate, click below. All donations are tax deductible*
